Want to acquire digital design skills to take your career to the next level? DESIGNATION Design Essentials is a new online course specifically for beginners who want to learn about user experience design.
Over the course of 6 weeks of part-time learning DESIGNATION Design Essentials covers the core skills of design and product development including User Experience (UX), User Interface (UI), Interaction Design (IxD) and more. Students who enroll can join a creative and collaborative online environment to research, design, build and test a functional product, all in just six weeks.
Aaron Fazulak, CEO and Co-Founder of DESIGNATION, tells us Design Essentials is accessible to everyone. “It’s part-time, online and allows people to learn the basics of user experience design and design thinking in general,” Aaron explains. “Design is an incredibly powerful problem solving tool and we want everyone to have the ability to use it to change the world.”
Design Essential students can work remotely from anywhere in the world. The course requires 10-12 hours a week with support from a dedicated instructor via weekly check-ins, feedback and mentoring sessions.
“Most of the students that come to our program are currently in, or have graduated, from college,” says Aaron Fazulak of DESIGNATION. “With that said, we have had students ranging from 18 to 60 years old. You don’t have to be based in the United States to enroll, DESIGNATION has had students from Germany, Canada, Brazil, Italy, Ireland, Australia, and many other countries.”
Design Essentials is available for a limited time at an introductory cost of $800. For more information check out designation.io/design-essentials
