If you’ve ever caught yourself typing “I just want to check in and see…” or “I’m so sorry to bother you…” there’s a new email app for exactly what you need.
Just Not Sorry is a free Gmail plug in designed to help those of us who subconsciously use language in emails that undermines our message.
According to its creators at Cyrus Innovation, Just Not Sorry takes three seconds to download and then every email you type is reviewed for trigger words. Highlighted words will be underlined for correction with additional information about how using the phrase is perceived.
The goal? Cyrus Innovation hopes 10,000 women will sign the Just Not Sorry pledge and become more assertive in their email communication this year.
